My journey as a fashion designer and blogger started out as an innocent pursuit to put my creative energy into something productive. As a blogger, my posts covered stories on my personal style, observation, and comments on the international fashion scene. At that time I was trying to go overseas to continue in this field, and in the process, I had enrolled for a short course to learn the techniques of designing. While I was doing this course I was approached by a fashion house based in Kathmandu to showcase my designs.

That is how I started as a fashion designer. It was a great opportunity for me and I am grateful to House of Fashion for giving me that exposure. Since then my designs have evolved so much. A lot of that has to do with self-study, constant experimentation, and sharing and learning from experienced people. I worked for House of Fashion for two years and in the second year I was appointed as their creative head. I have covered fashion articles for magazines and showcased my collections at eleven different fashion shows here in Kathmandu and overseas. In 2014, I was the official designer for Miss Nepal which was another wonderful experience to display my design on an international platform. Recently my design worn by Miss Nepal 2016 was titled ‘Best Evening Wear’. I have showcased my designs internationally in various events at HongKong, Bangladesh and London.

I wanted to share my story because I believe that if anyone wants to pursue what they believe in, it is possible with hard work and perseverance. I just hope you, my dear readers will find my blog insightful and helpful in some way. Thank you all for your loving support.
